Jerry indicated that there was an offer on the table with an undisclosed team in the top 4or5 picks for dallas to move up and select the WOW player....obviously dallas was targeting Andrian Peterson. Jerry indicated it would have costed dallas a top player on our team now (didnt say who) and a bundle of picks...and said that in the end they did not want to do it......Wow I must say, while prior to today I wanted to move up.....I am soooo much happier now that we moved down and got potentially a top 5 pick next yr.!!!

I loved the trade with Cleveland and I was thinking "McFadden" the whole time. I'm sorry to any cleveland fan but I hope they go 0-16 next year.

I'm happy for Quinn. He seems like a class act and gets to play for his favorite team and go back home.

I'm happy that things fell in place for Jerry and the Cowboys. The guy gets so much criticism as a GM (much of it deserved), but this move was brilliant. Getting the player you wanted and getting a possible top five pick next year was genius.
