You can’t be serious….the Dallas brand was damaged long before Dak Prescott. What has Dallas done in the last 30 years? Absolutely nothing!! The brand was damaged when Jerry’s ego got in the way. He couldn’t be satisfied with winning Super Bowls. He wanted the credit for the wins. Remember his lunatic statement, “any one of 500 coaches could have won a Super Bowl” with the team he assembled? This comment was made in 1994. And that was the undoing of the Cowboys. Why hasn’t there been a Super Bowl before the arrival of Dak?

When was the time Jerry was evil?

Well against us fans he is a constant in that. But against his players? Never.

No the problem is not he is too friendly to them either. Its not the complete opposite what i want to say.

The real problem is the guy is a bad manager and he has no clue about risk management.

Not only in Daks case in a lot of other cases too (Romo etc...) the guy never puts in the needed work to not be so dependent on certain players. Certain means players who are very important to the team. He in every case maneuvers himself into a position where in the end he has no other chance to agree to everything the player demands or say good-bye - Which he then cant because he made the team is so dependent on that particular player.

That's just mismanagement at its best.

I know Jerry likes to make us all believe he is a great business man. Takes a lot of risks had failures but still in the end is here and successful. He is smart in doing that and letting us believe his fairy tale stories.

But that's just a way to better sell his product. In reality the opposite is the case: The guy has no clue about management. And it shows year in and year out in the product he is putting together.
