I would not be shocked with 5-12 finish . If a rookie WR on Carolina lays out an extra step he catches what was probably the game winning TD in Philly . They are playing hard for a rookie coach and Bryce Young seems to be improving . They can run the ball and they play hard for that DC .

The rest of the schedule is playoff teams . You couple 5-12 with MM starting out 6-10 five yrs ago seems Troy Aikman predicting an MM return is a bold statement . In what form ? 3 yr contract . No one signs one yr deals .

5-12 this year adds up to 47-37 in 5 yrs with zero deep playoff success . How do you justify those results ? No better then JG territory .

Lol. ‘Clean house’? What does that even mean? Were you even following the team this year? What team do you think could experience success with the spate of injuries we’ve had?

May as well find yourself another team. JJ isn’t cleaning anything next off season.
Yep, you cant initiate a deep clean with Jerry and Dak's contract.

If Jones don’t clean house I’m done with this team . I’ve been a diehard fan for 50 years never thought I would say that but watching this is total misery!
Clean house and then what?

Those guys have no clue. They will bring in the same crap we already have.

People look forward to the draft and FAs. We are not good at both. If there were other people in charge then id have hope. But with those Joneses i dont see any kind of changes to the better.

Yep, would we even trust Jerry to clean out properly. What we think Micah"s worth, on the market, and what Jerry could get are wildly different entities.
It's not as if we're a drafting colossus anymore.
We need Jerry to suffer (and by extension, ourselves), for him to lease overall control....then the clean-out can start.
As we've said, there's no point throwing money and restructuring CAP, we need to admit we need to suk and accept the medicine tastes bad.

I love these posts.

The problem with the team is Jerry and his family. If cleaning house doesn't include changing ownership or the very least his involvement then it's a moot ordeal. So instead of telling everyone your ultimatum just go ahead and stop being a fan. Don't watch games, delete any related accounts, block content whatever makes you happy.

Unless something miraculous happens, Dallas will end up with top 15 pick in the draft. Will they change coaches? Who knows but find it funny says that Jerry will move on from McCarthy because McCarthy is a free agent right after the last game and who says he wants to come back. He has walked away before and very well could do the same again. Same with Zimmer. Jerry will find someone that can be a puppet for him because he will always believe he is smarter than any other football guy.

As to being a fan, I have been since their very first game I attended their very first game against Pittsburg on September 24th, 1960, so a fan for some 64 years. Until the Jones become a real football team with a real GM then nothing is going to change until Jerry dies. I wouldn't be surprised to see Stephen and his siblings sell the team after Jerry passes. But until then, we should still support them and hope for the best. Finding the next good head coach is going to be difficult because any coach worth his salt will demand no interference from any of the Jones. We know that it will never fly with Jerry.

We have to hope they draft well and get lucky with the UDFA guys, and hopefully hit on a few free agents we get in the 4th week of free agency to exceed their expectations. We still have a great core of players and hopefully we can go relative injury free next year. Don't believe anyone with a brain believes that Zimmer or McCarthy are going to come back on 1 year deals and frankly it would only prove they are desperate for a job which does not ever play well for success.

Best hope for me is that we end up picking in the top ten and another team really needs that pick to either move up for say a QB or Hunter and we receive possibly a later pick in the 1st round and their 2nd round pick and their 1st round in 2026 so that Dallas can put together a package to be able to draft Manning out of Texas who would sit a year or two behind Dak before taking over for the next 10 or 12 years.

Very solid point. Jerry and "cleaning house" are concepts that are oxymoronic. The ridiculous contract entered with Dak on the eve of the first game ??
Cleaning house in some circles is admitting failure, something Jerruh will never do, IMO. The man's a salesman.
