for these types of gut wrenching losses to occur under multiple head coaches shows there is a problem with the culture in Dallas.

Garrett is 12-9 as head coach. in 8 out of 9 of those losses we blew a 4th quarter lead.

people want to fire Rex? but these same players failed under wade and bill and some under zimmer. how can Rex do better with far less talent in Cleveland? how can Wade leave and have the #1 defense in Houston already without mario williams and demeco ryan?

Mack Brown, head coach of the Texas Longhorns, brought in several outiside consultants after the 5-7 season last year. They gave him the good, bad, and ugly of the program....didn't hold back with the criticism.

He took their advice and changed coaches, recruiting strategies, practice schedules, strength and conditioning, study habits, and intensity in practice, etc...

if we can't get a GM, the least Jerry could do is bring in a consultant to observe, take notes, and give advice to Jerry without blue shades on.

for this franchise to continue to be mental midgets at the ends of games year after year, under different administrations shows flaws in the culture of the franchise.

The "administrations" that he has been hiring since 2006 have all been flawed. You can't expect much when your coaching staff itself is mediocre. He needs to hire a guy like Fisher or Gruden and then just get the heck out of the way for a couple years while Romo still has some talent.

The problem is some of the guys on this team are not as talented as we are being led to believe.

This season they cleansed the offensive line, next year it is time to do the same with the secondary.

The first piece of advice the consultant should give Jerry is to find a head coach the you dont have to yell from your owner's box to call a timeout.

He needs to hire a GM that will ****ing draft us a CB because our corners get TORCHED. He needs to get us a GM that will draft us a pass rusher that we can put opposite of Ware.

Get us someone to help Ware out and then just grab a boatload of CBs, we'll need them. Mike Dumplins goes down so much you can't count on him to stay healthy. Then, patch up the OL a bit and we should be good.

He hit a homerun with Tyron Smith. Now he just needs to do the same thing on the other side of the ball with that 1st rounder

Lol, does anyone think the Jets will be a little bothered by us firing Rex?

Possibly. We could always lend them Rob though!

Rex is much better, it's not even close. His system totally blows Rob Ryan's system out of the water. Jets were a middle of the pack defense and he came in and made them a Top-3 defense immediately...and without much change in talent.

Except they just signed two of them to multi-year deals.

We all need to reflect on this.

That's a Garrett pick all the way.

Tyron Smith and Demarco Murray are two guys we really didn't need?
