A) It'll never happen for a multitude of reasons and I wish to F these stupid threads would stop asking for it to happen.........
\
B) CC is right: Johnson would assasinate one of these dopes. (probably take them to the "asthma" field to do it!)

I wish someone would post something that was actually a doable.

Not some "pie-in-the-sky" wish.

Agreed.

man I wish people get over the Jimmy days. He's not coming back. Get over it.

Agreed.

Jimmy Johnson wants no part of this.

Disagree. He can say ANYTHING and STILL be lured back.

Its funny, but both Terry and Howie were thinking the exact same thing. Howie was even calculating how much it would take to lure Jimmy back.
Jimmy quickly difused it all by saying "no, not me", but it didn't sound that convincing IMO.

Personally, I think this is the perfect scenario for Jimmy and his planet sized ego. Coaching a uber-talented team to the SB (just for half a season) would cement his HOF credentials and make him the undisputed greatest Cowboys coach ever. Not to mention, it would be a very gentle but clear "in your face" to his now buddy Jerry about who was the true driver on the 90's championship teams. If he fails, not his fault, it was just for 1/2 a season and he was only doing it to help out a buddy and the Cowboys (not his scheme, not his players, especially on D). Lots of built in excuses.

Win-win for Jimmy IMO.

Money would make it happen. This time Jerry is HANDS OFF COMPLETELY.

I'm on board. Offer FOX Bobby Carpenter and a 3rd rounder for Jimmy Johnson, straight up.

Jimmy Johnson could be the missing piece here. Gibbs came back to Washington, and Jimmy knows that Jerry will be desperate to make it work this time.

Once again...never going to happen.

It would take LOTS of money
Jerry would have to give up the GM roll
It would be a short contract and then Jimmy would be back to Florida.

Jerry will never give up the GM roll.
