Jerry never admits mistakes. Garrett and Romo going nowhere.

pretty much sums up EVERYTHING. More Jerry = More Garrett. More Garrett = More bad coaching. More bad coaching = More mediocrity

This is a talented team with piss poor leadership. Jerry won't admit it, so Garrett will remain. Garrett doesn't get it, so it will remain the same.
I hate being so negative and I normally don't overreact like this, but i called this before the game and it played out EXACTLY the way i thought it would.

i'm not surprised, or even angry. just disappointed in seeing The Star disrespected like this. They are putting out a poor product and reaping the benefits of having a dedicated, loyal fan base. We'll continue to watch this thing go down in flames because we love them. They'll continue to make money and tell us that Garrett is a good coach with a good plan and not to worry. when we miss the playoffs there will be more excuses.

wash, rinse, repeat.

Landry is either rolling over in his grave or smiling somewhere up there basking in his sweet vindication

If sponsors and season ticket sellers start bailing he wont have a choice. He has to sell hope.

As long as season ticket holders can double the price they paid on Stub Hub, they will keep buying.

Never going to happen, no matter how bad the product is.

Aint about selling the team. About making others walk the plank for his sins.

Not true.
Many football people say this team has great football talent, the problem is between the ears. Just yesterday I heard Steve Tasker on NFL radio who was covering the game say how impressed he is of the collection of talent in Dallas, he just thought there was a chemistry/psychological issue.

Listen to the Goose on the Ticket right now. He is spot on.

Many people around here said in the summer we were in trouble when we signed Livings and Bernadeau - these guys both blow.

:lmao: No way. You mean the whole throwing stuff against the wall in talent evaluation doesnt usually work?

I'm no expert, but apparently is doesn't.

Look at the 2009 Draft. We could have rebuilt our team in that draft alone - and it was botched terribly.

Guys picked after our 20th pick (traded to Detroit)

Alex Mack
Michael Oher
Clay Matthews
Percy Harvin

Guys picked after our 51st pick (traded to Buffalo)

Andy Levitre
Henry Melton
Lesean Mccoy
Sean Smith
Sebastian Vollmer

And we have no players from that draft of consequence on our team and we all know where Roy is.

Absolutely embarrassing.

Which he will do by trading up in the draft for CBs, RBs, and WRs ... as per usual.

Talent is the word used too much around here. Look at the offensive line. We are in last place in scoring. Romo is running for his life. We only have one talented player on the OL, Tyron Smith(21 years old learning a new position). The rest would be considered as backups on most teams rosters. Garrett can design plays, formulate a game plan; but if you don't have time to execute, it's all for nothing.

Our defensive line is serviceable at best. Dez has talent but nothing between the ears. Crazy thing about him is" He will want about 10 million a year when his contract is up" We are getting by with our Safeties. Jerry and the media are shoving the hype down our throats and the rest of the league is laughing. I have to stop!

Jerry admits mistakes all the time.

Jerry's problem is he doesn't stop making mistakes.

It's hard to correct every mistake all at once. The problem is, the Cowboys have spent the five years trying to correct mistakes.

Livings and that other guy won't be back next season!

Jerry will probably use a first round pick on a D - lineman!

It's amazing how loved the Cowboys were by everyone before Jerrah took over.

JJ bares 75 % of the blame, IMO, for bad drafts or not addressing certain positions, such as OL, for whatever reason.

Romo is a very good NFL QB stuck with a POOR OL that cannot protect him or run block.

Garrett takes 15% of the blame for being a plan vanila play caller. Of course, if we could block better, maybe that changes.
