About 25 minutes, but worth the listen.

Apparently you need to offer more than a bologna sandwich Jerry. Maybe Mongo likes ham?theogt;2069107 said:Still exploring WR option. Sending out smoke signals, but you try not to tamper. Detroit wasn't trading RW. Never talked with the other two clubs. They've gotta come to you. Can't really say any more.

Interesting that he never talked with the other 2 clubs. Maybe Mongo felt he was too locked in and he could drive the price up?
I would also like to note that he said they have to come to you. Meaning Detroit did. Which is exactly what I've been saying.

I don't for one minute believe the Lions want to use that Tag on him. If no team trades for him they have to pay him the average of the top 5 WRs in the NFL. I like Roy Williams but he is not one of the top 5 WRs in the NFL. I don't think they will take that risk.cowboyfan4life_mark;2069350 said:Hos, lets say that the Lions uses the franchise tag on RW next year, think the Cowboys would still sign him and consider it a trade...RW for a 1st and 3rd.? theogt;2069107Felix gives you better change of direction and bigger plays.[/quote said:That's been my argument all along. While Mendenhall might have a very similar 40 time... Jones can simply blow his doors off in the open field with his change of direction. He can flat out embarass defenders while you really didn't see that from Mendenhall.
I liked both backs but Felix fits here perfectly with Marion. Better than Mendenhall, IMO.
No one was standing in line to get Charles Haley.
Precisely. Pacman is well worth the gamble.
