THat's one of the big problems... MOST franchises do everything they CAN to KEEP people who are proven winners. This one tries to downplay them and not let them run things so they go elsewhere.

As an older fan, I think I understand your displeasure with Jerry and his mismanagement of a once proud franchise. I remember when Cowboys ownership was virtually silent, and NFL professionals ran the team (Schramm, Landry, Brandt). We all recognize that the most pressing, serious problem with the team now is its malignant narcissist owner with advancing dementia.

Step back from the roller coaster ride. I did and I am better off. Love me some Cowboys but emotional devotion has greatly been reduced and my blood pressure never rises from football anymore.
