OK I have to agree moving this guy to full time or 50% at a traditional linebacker spot is a waste however I think the biggest issue I see is some fans like me I'll just say me they should be expecting Micah Parsons just to be better playing the run off the edge if he's at the edge spot and it's a run play he needs to set that edge better he also needs to play the RPO better he has weaknesses he he needs to stop looking for the run on the way to the quarterback and and being out of position cutting inside too fast this is the problem I think if he just improves his run game recognizing the runs choosing the right guy on the RPO etcetera it's and just close the edge off we would be happier with that..

I mean if good examples on the other side I mean DeMarcus Lawrence IE tank gets so much Flack around here the last three or four years they wanted this guy cut off the team he is the best three down player we have as a defensive end in my opinion he plays the run better he also stays in his lanes better that's why we see him tipping passes in my opinion he brings more to the team and Michael Parsons as a full time headhunter that just looking for sacks..

If we plan on playing paying this guy $30 million I expect him to be better against the run he does not have to be moved to a off the ball linebacker...

I wouldn't say a favorite but he might be in the top five for sure but there are defensive players that are playing better I know things have dropped off but Khalil Mack miles Garrett just to name a few guy on his own team was part of the conversation for a while in bland I haven't looked in a while but I can tell you right now he is not a favorite he's just in the mix in the debate..

there should be a stat on how many times you are held and not have a flag called in like three or four games that's insane he's being held back in my opinion by the referees in a lot of cases he's also had the flu he's also been injured a couple times he is not been front and center enough for what he gets as far as hype and reputation so on that point I agree with some of the people saying here he's not been at least on the stat sheet or defensive player of the year talk been doing much lately...

However I remember the same thing being said about DeMarcus Ware I mean he literally was being called out for not showing up in the biggest game most of his sacks came in garbage time or against bad teams and all the way to the Hall of Fame so yeah I mean fans can have whatever opinion they wanted the guy but on the whole he's still a great player...
