Well-rampage, Everlastingxxx, and the hundreds of TO-detractors here have just gotten their wish.

They went on for 2 weeks how Team Obliviator costed us the Eagles game and nearly costed us the Lions game with his pouting-like I said, they got their wish!

Initial reports are the mri is negative.

Tomorrow the injury could be alot worse though.

Owens is in good spirits.

He has no idea how long he will be out and does not know if he will play next week.

he is going to have another mri in the morning.

Jerry should have said XRay, not MRI. They won't do an MRI until tomorrow.

Sorry about that, he might have, i was just trying to type what he said as he talked and May have heard that wrong.

Not trying to give misinformation.

Crayton is already starting. He doesn't have to replace TO.

Not taking any chances. I'm sure they want it stabilized and his weight off it till they know more. Not to worried unless he is still in it tomorrow and Monday.

Can you say sleep in the hyperbaric chamber!

At this point I say turn the entire indoor practice facility at valley ranch into a hyperbolic chamber and allow no player to leave for any reason.

Yes the crutches are just to keep any weight off the swollen area. Also we have a very capable running game and a great tight-end. Dont be surprised if we run the ball 40 times next week. Hopefully Glenn can get back in the lineup and draw some double teams to free up Pat, Sam and Jason.

Even if GB wins (uh, pretty good odds on that), then it's still NOT worth it to play Owens vs. the Skins when they will no doubt be desperate as all get out.

I agree and if todd collins is playing, we have a good chance to score enough points without him to win.

We can use fasano more, miles austin more, throw to the backs more.

We have 8 days to come up with a way to move the ball on washington without owens.

it is going to be a bee's nest next week, so we will have to play a solid game to win.

Yeah... we probably do.

If TO doesnt come back in time for playoffs at 100%... then it wont matter if we play at Texas Stadium or GB or wherever... our playoff run get cut short... probably one and done.

I'm gonna take a little different perspective on this. If... and if being the operative word here ... TO comes back in good shape for the playoffs, then just maybe it makes us give the running game and Marion Barber the proper emphasis it needs going into the postseason.

If, and again what a huge word if can be, everything shakes down in that fashion then in a strange way maybe we benefit in the long run. Of course if the injury to TO drags into playoff football then all bets are off.

Lets not forget that if Minnesota beats Washington tomorrow, the Skins are eliminated from the playoffs esentially. My guess is that come week 17 the Skins will be a little dejected and not have the same fire still fighting for a playoff spot. Yes its a division rival and probably our most heated, its pretty tough to get up for a game when you know you're not making the playoffs. At least thats how I view it.

I find it ironic that all week long in talking about the stupidity of the horse collar tackle rule, that the guy who most say the rule was made because of his injury - gets injured exactly like I said was possible.

I'll say it again, that rule does not protect anyone.
