Sorry if this is a thread. I'm living out of a hotel and it's harder to find on my phone.

ESPN just had a piece on "why Jerry would come down to sidelines. " Most had no clue since he calls no plays, etc. this included Ray Lewis, Tom Jackson and Ditka. All were just looking at it like a distraction and something that usurps Garrett. Keyshawn said he only comes down late in games and thinks Jerry thinks he is helping the players and they play better with him there. Said he doesn't necessarily agree but that is what Jerry thinks.

So what is the point or do you care? Jerry says he wants to come down more.

The bigger question is why Jerry would announce it? Does he want to give them something to talk about other than Dez? Of course, they all connected it to Dez anyway.

In Jerry's mind, Garrett is the stay at home Mom that disciplines the kids on a daily basis, gets them to school, feeds them etc.. Jerry is the Dad that's not around all the time, but when the kids act up, the Mom says "wait till your Dad gets home".

I have zero problem if the owner wants to improve his view of the game....but, if his reason for coming down to the field is to motivate the players or coaches, then he truly has lost his mind...if he is coming down to the field to keep an eye on Garrett, then he should just fire Garrett now and get it over with...

It only matters to:

1. Jerry haters
2. Cowboy haters

I still don't see a problem with it. He is the biggest cheerleder we have and it's good for the players to see how passionate he is and cares about our team.

I can't stand Jerry so you are right. The less I see of him the better off for me. And if he's on the sidelines they'll show him a lot. He loves the attention. Too bad for me.

Couldn't care less. This is another story I'm tired of hearing about.

I want to say it doesn't matter, but when you have a roster littered with players who have shown the propensity to wilt under pressure, you're simply adding more volatility to the mixture.

That said, it is Jerry's team and there isn't a damn thing we can do about it.
