I saw Jerry on the news (channel 4) because he spoke at a banquet here in Dallas for college coaches. They showed him during his speech, then showed him schmoozing with some college coaches...

I know it doesn't mean anything right now, but I believe he was chatting with Charlie Weis. It was a quick shot, but I'm 99% sure it was him. I REALLY hope that Weis takes over for Parcells when Tuna is ready to retire for good. I think it is a natural fit. I think Weis would win big here. He's a QB guru and the defense should be VERY good next year so all he has to do is get that offense rolling.

JJ would have to pony up $15 million to buy out Weis's new contract. That is IF Weis wanted the job. NOT likely.

I also would like Weis, however, I am sure Mr. Jones speaks to college coaches on a weekly basis.....just part of the business.
