drafted Stevie Nix favorite player! check out the 07 draft again, its vintage Jerry Jones... Wheeling and dealing landing picks no one wants! Jerry is funny he thinks he is Jimmy but it seems like all he did in 07 was for trade chart value and draft projects!

now someone will post something about Jules Jones to defend Jerry!

stupid thread of the day

Did the Eagles and Cards have incredible 2007 Draft classes?

okay I can play that game... How many teams have gotten less production out of their 07 drafts?

all I'm saying is the 07 draft did not give us much help to make the playoffs... why ppl take offense to that? 5 do know this if we drafted McClain he wouldnt have had a 80 yard run for the Ravens that helped keep the Boys out of the playoffs!

That was on Jerry too? Damn that guy.

Considering the Cowboys forcing us to watch the Cardinals and the Eagles in the NFC Championship game...

Actually, I may watch the game, I may not... apparently I'm not being "forced" to watch it...

You gotta be kidding me.

You went back to the 2007 NFL draft and are upset with McClain not being picked? Seriously? We're talking about a FB.

How about Anthony Spencer (4.5 career sacks) over LaMarr Woodley?

McClain gets you upset? ROFL.

He's a FB. We had a chance at a stud, pass rushing OLB opposite Ware and missed out. Oh well.

Can't bat 1.000.

Sorry i couldnt reply to everyone... gotta go! If I see any Cowboys from the 07 draft @ the Palms tonight, I will be sure to let you all know!

are you saying Jerry's drafts are comparable to Landry, Tex and Gil and that Jerrys 07 draft should not be judge?

okay i get it!!!

Uhh, no.. sadly, you don't.

and something tells me you haven't for a long time.

Man I sure hope stupid isn't contagious I can not afford to catch that

I love ending each sentence with an exclamation for no particular reason!

I also can't wait for your seven round mock draft; we'll look back in two years and say it was the greatest draft ever, right?!

Where's your thread about the Ravens passing on WR Steve Breaston, he of the 77-catch, 1,006-yard second season, to take WR Yamon Figurs, who has all of two catches in two seasons? And Baltimore took Figurs, who has done well as kick returner, in the third round while Breaston lasted until the fifth.

Every pick, especially on the second day, is a roll of the dice. Each player available by then is considered flawed for one reason or another and you don't know which ones are going to overcome their flaws or how long it is going to take.

That's how you end up with a Jay Ratliff falling to the seventh round and showing that he has NFL ability worthy of an early-round pick. All you can hope is that the positives your scouts saw when grading the player come through and the negatives don't.

In the case of Stanback, one negative (injury problems) has been a major factor in his development.
