And you didn't have the coaching to step up & say "That's all great but you need experience in the playoffs. Nice work rookie but we've got to play the guy who is better"
I think they determined Dak was better for that team. I'll give Garretts his props for that. He had the nuts to keep the injury prone Romo on the bench. That was a tough call I know.

Was he horrible ?
Define "horrible." You can't objectively measure just saying "horrible." Did he make crucial errors in the game that contributed to Jacksonville making a comeback? Absolutely. Was he the sole reason as to why they lost? No.

That's the problem with today's society: it's either black or white, every topic has to be determined in complete totality and there can be only be ONE way or answer.

Okay, rant over.

Oh did Jimmy hire himself? IF he did then i'm mistaken I thought Jerry hired him......

Who's in charge of this gong show now for the last 27 years and numerous coaches that has won NOTHING!!!.....He hired Jimmy who was a football guy, and then decided to undermine him trying to take credit for football moves when he didn't have a clue, Jerry said 500 coaches could win with this team, and how many have we gone through since he made that statement over 27 years but you keep drinking that Jerry Jones kool-aid

A team rallies around their starting QB no matter who it is. Romo didn't get his starting job back because of coaching stupidity. Romo was our best chance of getting to the Super Bowl once he was 100% healthy .
No they don't. The team literally won 4 games the year prior because they couldn't "rally behind" their QB. Romo was a good talent. Underrated by those outside of Dallas and overrated by those in Dallas. But you gauge how your team feels about players especally the QB position.

As harsh as this sounds....it wasn't like they had Tom Brady waiting to play. It was Tony Romo. It was one perennial loser vs a rookie. Didn't work but at the end of the day the Cowboys didn't lose because of Dak.

The sad thing is that cognitively he's just going to get worse and worse yet still be influencing decisions.

Wonderful.
That much is true--and why Jerruh should be kept as far away as possible from the decision/selection process with the next Cowboys quarterback(s). Im not optimistic.

I'd say it was Kelvin Joseph getting beat on a deep td that turned the game. We were up 17 at that time.

The long pass play sparked Jacksonville.

As a fan I knew Dallas was pinned and needed to be careful and not make any mistakes that would lead to more quick points from Jacksonville. You would think the QB would also know this and be careful with the ball.

No. Prescott panicked under pressure and instead of taking a sack and moving on to the next play, he throws an ill-conceived pass which is intercepted. Now the spark in Jacksonville is an inferno.

The long pass play was the first play to give Jacksonville life. The interception was the play that started Dallas's demise.

The interception was the play of the game.

So if Dak continues to play like this, San Fran, Tampa Bay and Philly all should be a walk in the park!
'jgboys1'
You got the "walk in the park" sequence wrong!
It's Tampa Bay first, then San Fran, followed by Philly!!!:D

horrible is pretty black or white. It means terrible, like really bad. like you I don’t subscribe to all this black or white.

He didn’t play really well. He wasn’t horrible.

I’d we plot it on a scale, it could look something like this:

horrible————————————————great

Defense
Dak
Running game

Again someone saying dak was horrible is either:
1. Incredibly biased and has an agenda
2 Simply doesn’t get it

There isn’t another option. Pick ur number

It's both.

You clearly hate Dak for reasons that have nothing to do with football. You know that's true even if you're not man enough to admit it.

You're also deep in the Cult, because you're resorting to blaming him for things that he wasn't at fault for in the LEAST, like that pick-6. A complete denial of reality is CULT behavior.

We know you have issues in your personal life. You've told us about them here. Does it make you feel better to blame Dak for all that makes you unhappy?

So grow the nuts to say what my off the field issue is with Dak since you want to keep accusing me of that.....or do you lack the spine?

I know, and you know what he is insinuating. Qcard does the same thing but won't fess up, just insinuates. It's just a symptom that permeates their thoughts and lives. Why they want to play that card game I have no clue.

Jimmy was the reason Dallas won 3 Super Bowls seeing as how he had control of the roster, to include the Walker trade which was why Dallas acquired the talent they did. Oh, and the NFL introduced the salary cap in 1994 thereby making it more difficult for a team to amass a Championship yet Johnson still managed the Dolphins to a record of 36-28 in his 4 years there and taking the team to the playoffs in 3 of his 4 seasons.

But hey, it must be a coincidence that since Jimmy left the team after the 1993 season Dallas has not been to the Super Bowl again (they went in 1994 with what essentially Jimmy's roster).
Answer the question. What did Jimmy win after leaving the Cowboys after Jerry was holding him back?

If he allowed you to get him out of character and get benched at your command then that would be "lacking the spine". You can't get upset that he's not giving you what want.

That's the card far too many easily play without knowing the facts or what card the person they are accusing is actually holding.

It's nothing but a position of the weak minded and intellectually illiterate.
