I'm guessing throughout the history of the NFL, the typical starting LB averages 3-4 concussions per season. Even today I'm pretty sure most players avoid admitting they've had most of them if they can.

LBs are the hammer of the defense. To think they aren't experiencing a high number of concussions is foolish.

Sean Lee suffered his second concussion in five weeks Sunday night against Philadelphia. Cowboys owner Jerry Jones said Tuesday morning that the team's starting weakside linebacker is "probably doubtful" for Sunday's game in Tampa Bay, JonMachota of the Dallas Morning News reports..

"We are taking into consideration that he had an earlier concussion this year," Jones said on 105.3 The Fan's Shan and RJ show [KRLD-FM]. "We are looking at it through that perspective. He will have to pass certain tests throughout the week. That's going to be quite a challenge for him since one of the parts of the test will start with is that he's had an earlier concussion in the year, so that's quite a hurdle to overcome when you've had another concussion."
