Correct me if I’m wrong but then you have to pay him the remainder of his contract. If he leaves for another job, you don’t.

I'm with Dez

With him interviewing for other jobs, did he forgot to game plan against the Packers? No adjustments at halftime either. Like Rex said, he continued to trot out 6 DB's even though we were getting our teeth kicked in using that defensive strategy. Looked like the WHOLE team didn't prepare for the Packers.

So what? Coaches salaries don't count towards the salary cap.
So what? You don’t have to write the check for millions to someone no longer with the team. People think Jerry doesn’t care about a few million here and there because the team is worth so much but people like him don’t get where they are by pissing away millions when they don’t need to. That money he would have to pay Quinn for nothing could be doubled or tripled in short order. Jerry isn’t throwing that away.

6 DB's and the GB receivers were still running all over the place uncovered? Damn...........

Jerry is worth somewhere close to 14 billion..... 'A few million' to him is like you and me grabbing a handful or quarters out of a piggy bank.

Don't let Quinn leave on his own accord.

Send a little message and fire him today.
I think he’s this year’s scapegoat MM always has one to sacrifice to Jerry so he can keep his gravy train. Funny his coordinators run the systems he demands then get thrown out in the trash for MM incompetence. The blame lies at the top with Jerry who hires only yes men as subordinates in all aspects of his organization. The organization stinks from the top to the bottom and it’s only a paycheck for 90% of the employees

So? That’s not an issue. Hell, if a university can pay a failed coach $72M to leave, one of the most valuable sports franchise in the world shouldn’t blink at a few measly million.

I totally agree with your post, but if Quinn is under contract next year then JJ would be on the hook for that money. Any team that hires Quinn as any type of coach should be boycotted by it's fans! HIS DEFNSE was horrible, the Packers looked like the 9ers 2.0 against our gutless and heartless team!

I agree.

Packers players were almost dropping passes yesterday because they were shocked they were so wide open.

Quinn is a fraud. One of many on this team, but he's the biggest.
I was telling someone earlier, his claim to fame is blowing a 21-point lead against Tom Brady and then picking himself back up so he can continue to blow leads. He's been doing it since he got here in dallas. He's not a good coach and he never was. Remember his first few games here when he pulled all the starters and almost lost the game? For some reason he has a sick fascination with blowing games.

In his defense, we don't have any LBers so he had to keep bringing out DBs. We went into the season with a guy with a history of neck injuries, a guy who has had spinal fusion surgery, and a guy who they only play as a edge rusher as our only LBers. That's why we have a converted DB playing there.
