That's very true, but I forget. Did Art Modell attempt to take the name, colors, etc., of the Browns with him to Baltimore and the City of Cleveland fought him over them? Or did he just move the team without any fuss?

I don't think Modell ever had that option. After the Baltimore-Indianapolis debacle, I think the league ruled that you can't take team trademarks with you.
