He doesn't want to say on record Dallas is as good OR BETTER than the Eagles....because that would be "dumb to SAY that."

That's his way of trying to be sly (but failing) and saying that he won't SAY they're good or better to avoid the (justifiable) universal mockery he'd receive, but he THINKS they're as good or better than the best team in the league.

Could there be a more annoying person in the world to single handedly be in charge of Cowboy fans hopes and dreams? I say no. We can see it. We can see we're not good. Plain ordinary fans can see it as plain as day. The thing is, I don't really think the Cowboys are dramatically far from contending, although they have stepped a little further from it over the last year or two.

I just don't have faith in Jerry and his clan to do the things needed to get them there. What might be a hump for a better GM and organization to get over seems to be a mountain for Jerry.
