Jerry thinks this team is his to reinvent, even though they're awful and not capable of competing effectively any longer. Now, he's thinking that he and Mike McCarthy are about to breathe live back into them, despite the sad way they function. One win vs. a team that has played the worst game that they're capable of playing, and everything's suddenly fine and dandy. Jerry's mind is sorely deficient of good reason.
Once and for all, Stephen and the rest of the family must find a way to revive this man's thinking enough to avoid the mess that prevails in his poor old decrepit brain. Jerry isn't anywhere nearly capable of clarity. It's up to them to find a way to make him aware of the sad truth, before their Cowboys' NFL Team's business becomes a non-functioning outfit of the past.
