33 years since we last spent a 1st round pick on a QB (Steve Walsh supplemental draft 1989)!
And people wonder why a 4th round pick (Dak) or a UDFA (Romo) can't sufficiently elevate the team!!!

Hey Jerry…that investment you made in Dak is paying off! Pay a QB like a franchise QB when he requires those players around him to be playing at 100% to win games; unable to elevate players around him. Dak is a great leader and team guy, no doubt; but he just doesn’t have the physical skills and mental acumen to be elite at his position.
Worst of all…Jerry will use Dak’s injury to rationalize the deficiencies of the team this season.

QB has a broken hand, the oline is a total mess, the WRs are backups at best, and the OC refuses to run the ball.

Yeah, it might be time to tank.

but they wont tank , they wont try for a top draft spot, and even if they get one, they wont get a QB !

I think if coaches make some changes, rush can win some games, heck is rush that bad? I think he could have dont better than what

This raises an excellent point ! They have absolutely no shame in the fact that their back-up QB, the guy they now put out there to try to salvage the season for the rest of the team, is so lowly regarded by the rest of the nfl that they can waive him and put him on the practice squad without worry that even one of the 31 other teams might be interested in him.
