Jerry: We have better football ahead of us

Cowboys owner Jerry Jones on @1053thefan on looking back to their first six games of the season: “I would’ve liked to have played better against the 49ers. You see a team step up and play like Minnesota did and their quarterback did, they can be had, the 49ers.

“Four and two, I will take it, for sure. But we have better football ahead of us.”

So tired of all the positive sunshine pumping....

The outlaw Jose whales?

"We have better football ahead of us?"

Why is that, Jerry, do you feel unwell? Need more rest? Doctor suggests retiring?

Ahhh... Frank Sinatra....great song.
Natalie Cole did a fantastic remake of that song as well.

Jerry studied the make up and running of San Francisco prior to his purchasing the Cowboys. He actually studied the concepts directly with them for two to three weeks in their 'head shed.'

He did the same with the Oakland Raiders owner...

Jerry is well educated and no where conveniently senile...he is smart as a tack. He knows the cost of all gambles and how to develop. Sometimes a team has to be professional and ride out momentums to their own advantage. There are only so many 'special' plays that can be successful in ANY NFL game. With this defense, the points for any opponent should be costly and pretty hard to come by.

I don't care if the Cowboys are playing the Giant off the bean stalk.

Smart as a tack? Yes
Sharp as a tack? No a chance.
Count how many championship or Super bowls Jerry has led this team to in the last 25 years.

Jerry is a snake oil salesman who bought the most cherished team in the NFL and is gradually turning it into a laughing stock.

Yet some continue to buy his BS

Take a sheet of paper and on one side list all of the goods, (be honest), on the other side list what is actually bad, (not fan disappointment).

Then see what really correlates, being realistic, and in the PRESENT. If not, you don't really want to discuss. Your view is set and there is no discussion in a posting. I'll move on from prejudice.

To be any other way would mean recognizing fault in his GM and he can't have that.
I was a soldier, and watch actual escalation of war...not complaints. Prove your statement and attacking me personally won't even be accepted for cause!
