The Cowboys tend to telegraph where they are going in the draft leading up to it.

I think it's quite likely they go OL with their first or second round pick. Jerry just basically confirmed that. You also just have to look at the roster to know they are desperate for interior OL help as they did zero in FA to address clear holes. So unless something crazy happens like a stud dropping to them at 24, I suspect it's a very good chance they are going to go OL at 24.

One of those first two picks is going to be on an interior OL. They can't not make a pick there given they have done nothing to date to improve the interior OL in FA. They are going to take an OG or OC with one of their first two picks, maybe a college OT that can slide to OG, even for a few years.

I think every team has a good idea what other teams are going to do if all goes according to plans.
Also is any team as obviously guard needy as the Cowboys.

Yep but that's the beauty of this draft class, if that's the case with the G's there's still value as someone will have fallen and there's the real chance to trade down due to the supposed value in rds 2/3.
We also may well be high on another G outside of Green/Johnson and for once Jerry's mouth is a diversery tactic. Didn't he mention OL....if so a long term Tackle that can plug and play at LG.

That's what bugs me about this offseason. We don't have a starter at ALL at guard, and we do at C. But the starter at C isn't any good, and there is a strong potential that there will be a really really good center at our pick.but because we refuse to partake in free agency, we need to use the draft to fill the holes we've chosen not to fill, and subsequently must ignore the positions that need upgrading

We have partaken in free agency hat's, that's why we've signed: Fowler, LVE and Washington....players that will fill in but won't block a potential upgrade in the draft.
There's no indication that we are signing a Guard with 1st Pick and could well get Linderbaum and grab a G or T/plug Guard later on.
Depending on how this unpredictable draft goes, will direct us in how we spend the $22m we've still got to spend.
