When has Jerry ever said the Cowboys aren’t in the best shape they’ve ever been since he’s been the owner? Lol

Meh….who cares, I have nothing wrong with him stating this. What else is he going to say.

As they have put together a good roster. Now show it on the field.

Jerry still selling snake oil to the masses
Jerry, I don't have any problem with. Hey, he ordered Jimmy to leave...good bye Jimmy!

My request for now, just no 'Casey at the Bat' for this season. Anything goes then...that's my Team, The Dallas Cowboys!! :starspin:

Wins that Forbes Trophy every year. Life is good. Championships on the field are symptoms of success.

Some of you ask how do we continue to have the best ratings and team worth if we haven‘t won anything significant? Well, there you go. I’m fairly sure this is about the 10th or 11th time I’ve heard Jerry say this since the 2000s began. Master salesman. Here we go again. Preseason hype, good wins, start to believe, early collapse. Rinse and repeat for last 20 years.

I think he might be right.

I'm trying to remember a recent opening game in which the Cowboys didn't have some kind of injuries, suspensions or other issues.

All three receivers are in good health, heck, the whole squad is good to go. The TE's are three deep ready to go.

No injury issues to the QB's and RB's. The left side of the O-line is hurt but they aren't going out on the field with nine players. At least Richards and Edoga have been playing all month long. Not only that, Edoga has 26 games experience, half of them as a starter. Asim Richards is a 5th round draft pick and I don't think it's unusual for teams to start a late round O-line rookie.

Since 2000, there have been 47 rookie O-linemen that started at least 8 games for their teams.

Last season 6th round pick Trey Smith started all 17 games for the SB champion Chiefs. Braxton Jones, a 5th rounder, started all 17 games for Chicago.

Sam Williams won't be able to make it for game #1 but the D-line probably has more depth than any other squad on this team. Overshown is out for the season but nobody can tell me that the LB squad can't handle losing a rookie. The other LB's are healthy as can be and then you can assume that Parsons will play a small role there as well.

In the secondary, again, Wilson being gone can be absorbed by another very deep squad and the top three CB's are healthy as can be.

What I just described is the worse case scenario for game #1 as I assume Tyler Smith, Tyron Smith, Sam Williams, Donovan Wilson and Jourdan Lewis can't go.

The owner of the team people claim to be a fan of says positive things. And we get get displeased fans negative comments.
Yes we are the most hated teams as many of our own fans don’t even like us.

:lmao: What a place.
