My take on Smith: They arent getting any real offers. Considering he has a 1st round salary he me might be more of a negative asset (to use NBA parlance). So they will hold him if they dont add a DT. If they do, I can see them giving up value on a pick swap for someone to take Smith

If GB's first round pick is burning a hole in Jerry's pocket, just send it to Cleveland w/ his boy Mazi, Tolbert, and Diggs for Myles Garrett. Screw it. Doubt the compensation is enough but he's the one guy who can immediately fix the defense. No chance of this happening but a guy can dream.

You're right, he's a negative value asset.
His cap for next season is guaranteed at like 4.2, even if cut he saves a team nothing. Who wants to take that for a guy who barely plays for one of the worst defenses in the league? Anybody needing a big guy would just use a Day 3 pick and get someone they can control or cut if they want. He's a bust, a waste of cap space.
