Gruden is still a third rail I think. Anyone that hires him will be subject to all kinds of accusations and insults. I think Jerry would prefer not to deal with that. I am sure he is friendly with Gruden behind the scene but I don't think Jerry has has to desire to deal with all the problems Gruden would bring.

Gruden is probably the best man for the job. He’s likely the only coach with experience in working with a delusional, elderly owner who has no idea what is happening around them.
