R1 - Todd Gurley -- Jerry gets the guy many wanted and possibly the only "star" out there - even if he may have to stash him for a year due to injury.
R2 - Michael Bennett -- Ohio State -- might be the perfect Marinelli type DT - smaller, but does penetrate
R3 - Senquez Golson- Ole Miss -- undersized but very productive.
R4 - Cedric Ogbuehi - TAM - Jerry wanted Bryce Petty here, but he was off the board just picks before. So why not throw a flier on a first round talent that fell to the 4th round immediately stashed on PUP for a year.
R5 - Darron Smith - Fresno State - Good Football IQ to make up for avg athletic ability.
R7 - traded to Cleveland for Johnny Manziel. Jerry couldn't get him last year, so since Cleveland really wants out from under him, Jerry gives them a 7th for him.
R7 - Jarvis Harrison - TAM - this was the 7th round and any player with probowl potential still on the board has massive warts. True definition of Feast or Famine type player. Probably won't make team due to work ethic/lack of love of game -- but it is the 7th round so potential means everything.

Good draft? Jerry draft? Thoughts? Screams?

That actually is not that awful. A lot of character/injury risks, of course.

Ogbuehi would be a steal that late and I would trade a sixth for Manziel even if he were drinking champagne off a swan still.

I don't know why anybody would hate that draft. Manziel is an idiot, but a 7th for a 1st rounder from 1 year earlier. The Cowboys are more prepared to deal with a guy like Manziel than Cleveland. I would hate hearing about him in the media and the thousands of threads that would be created about the subject, but for that low of an investment I'm OK with it.

You really like those Aggies.

Read there are still several teams looking at Ogbuehi in round one. Zero chance he is there in round four.

You might be right, but Sharrif Floyd was picked to go in the top 3 and dropped to 23. Many had Manziel going in the top 5. Too many good tackles out there for me to believe that someone will not fall alot farther than expected - especially with his injury in the bowl game.

Here's a Jerry Draft after a pile of drinks:

1: R1P27 DE TREY FLOWERS ARKANSAS
2: R2P28 WR DEZMIN LEWIS CENTRAL ARKANSAS
3: R3P27 OLB MARTRELL SPAIGHT ARKANSAS
4: R4P28 DT DARIUS PHILON ARKANSAS

Trade #5 & 2 #7's and a case of scotch for Johnny football.

:D
