“The facts are there is a lot of we can’t comment on,’’ Jones said. “But the most t important things is if he feels better as the week goes along, there is nothing structurally to prevent him from playing. He might be cleared to play.’’

I think romo plays

If there is indeed hope, that means there was no rupture. My wife tried to tell me the distinction between the various types of vertebrae injuries. They kind of all sounded the same and most lead to no chance of playing football in a week. There are a couple of scenarios that would lead to him taking the field and a rupture is not one of them.

Wish we could get the official diagnosis so us message board docs can make better guesses :D

Maybe Jerry is right and he will play. But the last person I would believe on this subject at this point is Jerry Jones.

1. Does he risk further injury
2. Can he physically play

Tony is tough, but I'm not expecting him out there.

I hope Romo doesn't play. His health is more important than a football game, and we need him next season.

They would have been quiet about a severe condition like this if there was a chance that he could play. Jerry weighing in on it, with his stuttering addled analysis, is so comically low brow.

How so when everyone in the NFL saw him hobbling around. You cannot be hobbling around for half a quarter and not have anything wrong with you the next day.

Exactly, not to mention that every credible source is saying that Romo has a herniated disc that is going to require surgery. I'll trust those sources over Jerry Jones any day of the week.
