Jerry Jones also made some concessions about the roster and some of the decisions but when I asked him if he would concede the role given the scrutiny of it this season the answer was, “ No. I bought the team and…somebody asked, ‘Did you buy this for your kids?’ And I said hell no. I bought it for me. I didn’t buy an investment … I bought an occupation.” He went on to say “the facts are…since I have to decide where the money is spent, then you might as well cut all the BS. That's who's making the call anyway.”

Here's the thing.

Even IF Jerry hired a GM it wouldn't matter.

He would still control all aspects of everything and not let the GM do their job.

There will never be a GM other than Jerry regardless if he holds the title or someone else does.
I disagree. It would matter, even just a bit, because we would have a football person in charge of the football operation who would be accountable for their performance. We have two idiots in charge who a) don't have the first idea how to build a football team and b) don't even care to try c) because they have the job for life, no matter how bad they are at it.

Exactly.

This is why I say when people keep complaining over and over, year after year...

Why continue being miserable and making those around you miserable? Go follow another team and be happy for once in 30 years. Help stop the misery because Jerry is not going to change.

That would at least give me a glimmer of hope. Right now, there is nothing!
