It’s about the greed of the owners and Roger wanting to keep his 50m per year job,

I mean, how long until every game is played in another country?? Where does it end?

Maybe each team can come up with some new weirdo jersey that they never wore on the field but fans will buy it anyway.

These people can’t be happy with a great status quo. They have to continue to attempt one gimmick after the next, regardless of the good of the sport. Awful.

Here he goes. Typical Jerry provocation for absolutely no reason. It’s like he does it to intentionally make his players hate him and want out.

Well, this one was true at least. They did get him because of that, and if he behaves himself for another season, he'll largely put that question to bed. It didn't need to be said, though, but I'm OK with him being candid.

He’s not chatting with you over a beer.

He’s giving an interview and talking noise about his own played.

That’s not being candid. That’s trying to provoke Pickens.

What has GPdone since he’s been here to deserve that?

He hasnt said a word. This is the same thing that happened last year

Jerry just goes out of his way to insult a player who is jsut minding his own business


He is even threatening him with another tag next year!!! He’s telling GP he’s on a three year probationary period!

He was a long term question and it wasn’t a secret. I don’t see the issue.

I’m not trying to defend Jerry but genuinely trying to understand your point. It doesn’t sound insulting to me because he as wasn’t referencing his performance with the cowboys. Just the reason why they were able to get him. Like I said in my earlier post, it wasn’t a secret.

You don’t see anything wrong with Jerry intentionally talking trash like this about a guy who is so critical to our success?

Can you think of a single other GM or even a coach who would do this?

I’m honestly scratching my head at you guys who don’t see a problem with Jerry making such unnecessary and provocative comments in the national media knowing that it’s going to get tweeted across the league

What could go right with this type of comment?

How does this help?

Going into the off season and now into OTAs and minicamps, the biggest story is already “GP on the tag, will the cowboys extend him, will they trade him, will he wait until training camp to report”

And now Jerry has again, said something negative about a player he supposedly wants to be here long term

He pulled these tricks with Parsons, with Dak, CeeDee, Dez, Emmitt.

And these aren’t even negotiations where he things he’s trying to drive the price down. This time he’s just doing it to be a jerk

Imagine this on any other team.

Imagine if it was your boss.

Yeah. That’s why you’re seeing some good international games this year. Teams used to he able to block out home games and Big Daddy put the owners in their place

Pickens was a castaway for a reason. Just facts here. It's up to him to show the maturity required for a long term extension. Remember Trevon Diggs?
