Wouldn't shock me. We either throw multiple draft picks at a WR or we ignore it altogether. We can't just draft one in the first or second round. That would be like boring or something.

Thats my guess too.

Assuming the season tanks and Romo struggles, he'll have to hire someone with the ability to get more out of him. There is just to much investment for him to be mediocre for the next couple of seasons.

Yeah DB, you have to bring in somebody to get the most out of Romo and he's the guy. As a franchise you cant' throw the baby out with the bath water.

FINALLY admit he's not good at being a GM and hire an autonomous GM who, in turn, who will draft his own players and will hire a good, young and "fire-y" coach, who will make everyone accountable and, in turn, will hire and fire all the coaches he wants and will cut any player he chooses.

A guy can dream, right?
