I'd trade a 2nd for him. But I don't see the point in trading not 1 but 2 firsts for a guy who wants out. I didn't see it when we gave a 1st and a 3rd for Roy who wanted out and I still don't see it for a linemen either.

The guy made some mistakes today. But this is not something new. That's what he does. To cut him now makes no sense. He made these same mistakes before you traded for him. Is not his fault Columbo got hurt and was forced to start.

That's the point. Jerry overpays when he gets anxious. If a poorly run team like the Lions could pick his pocket, think what a competent GM like AJ Smith could get.

Funny, I was thinking of Jerry's opposite of knee-jerk, which is holding on to mistakes like a dog holds onto a bone.

Barron should be cut already, but because Jerry told us all summer what a great insurance policy he was, it won't happen.

Mind you, I would love to be wrong on this. Play Brewster. He may not ever be a LT, but he was pretty darn good at RT, and at least he wants to be a football player.

Buehler isn't reliable enough right now.

Beeler is nowhere near reliable. I said it during preseason. The guy will go 3-3 and look amazing, then he'll go 2 for 5.

We're going to have alot of close games this year and I need to feel comfortable with the kicker going out and kicking a 34 yard field goal.
