No surprise at all.........you never invest/trade a high pick for a player w/o a possible extension or new deal in mind
.

That's gonna be a tough call on whether to pay him. He is probably going to command close to 4 years, $120 million.

1. He's been a knucklehead.
2. You have the worst defense in the league. That kind of money can buy two solid defensive starters.

This is one thats ok to wait on till the end of the season. Is he on his best behavior because its a contract year? We should be selling him for a 1 and a 3 to a WR needy playoff team.

Do you remember our old special teams coach from the 90’s? He reminded of Doc Brown with his hair and facial expressions. Me and my family used to say “Marty!! Great Scott” in a doc Brown voice whenever he was on the tv. I really miss the 90’s.

Then we will hear we can't afford other free agents because we are paying 2 receivers $50M.

Can't pay Pickens $25M a year when you are paying Lamb and so many needs on D that all can not be fixed during draft.

The guy has been a stud

no two ways about it

THE PROBLEM IS...

is this all because he wants that big contract and once he has his guaranteed money will revert to the headcase the steelers gave up on?
