I hadn’t seen this discussed here so I thought I would post it.

It had been reported that after he joined the team, Christian Parker had told Schottenheimer that the Eagles had watched a lot of training camp film and Schottenheimer had the cowboys media team shut it down.

There was quite a kerfuffle earlier as the media was told to not take videos," Dawson said on air. "They appealed to the true power brokers of this organization, AKA the Jones Boys. Next thing you know, the videos are back up and running."

Well, Jerry, no matter what anyone says, is still Jerry. He had restrained himself pretty well this off season but he is complete incapable of refusing the media anything.

Reason number 437 why I hate Jerry.

Yeah, he would do anything to win. Ok Jerry.

This is no surprise whatsoever. He willl always undermine his head coach, and the two that he couldn’t (both in HOF), were ushered out of town.

It’s the Jerry Jones ego show. Let’s let everyone see us, including our opponents! I’m not famous enough or rich enough. Idiot.

Jerry not meddling usually happens when thi gs get real bad. He just fades.
Then things get better and he is front and center. If we have any form of success, jerry is on the sidelines for sure.

He wants credit

So the worry is the eagles may see posts of highlights from videos of cowboys training camp and get some edge from the clips?

I mean there is so much more meaningful film out there to watch l that I’m not sure what impact training camp film really gives.

The reality is the two teams know each other so incredibly well that the film doesn’t matter as much as if it were a team they rarely played.

I guess there could be something but seems like better film and things to watch for prep

And people were believing Jerry had changed..............

You were warned.
Some things have certainly changed

Are you happy with CP?

Are you happy he’s not forcing coaches on shotty and CP?

Are you happy with the trades over the past year?

Are you happy with the draft and approach to the offseason vz what we have been seeing?

Is it a total change? Absolutely not, but there are things now that are much better and it all starts with jerry

He still has a long way to go but not long TO go…we will see

Well to be fair, I don't think this year team it matters much, unless you think we are going far into the playoffs.

Still a puppet. Anyone who thinks the coach has any real power is fooling themselves.
I'm curious to see this year record prediction thread. I kind of feel that some people are even more enthusiastic at this point of preseason than they usually are. I think we improved in some areas, but still think we have holes and a nothing worth bragging about coaching staff, and a tough schedule.

I disrespectfully disagree with you - the way the coaching staff has been built says otherwise
What exactly has the current coaching staff accomplished? I mean it is hard to judge, since Jerry sabotaged them last year with the Micah trade right before the season. But then, only a puppet coach wouldn't blow up at the Owner/GM pulling that kind of move. I mean if that happened while Jimmy or Parcels were the Head Coach...

If Schott said filming practice was frowned upon then the media goes over his head ….it’s not a positive . And I thought other teams filming your practice was “ spying “ but the media doing it and it’s available to pretty much anyone isn’t pretty much the same result ?
