Subway has not been good for twenty years. Jersey Mike's Chicken Philly is money.

I don't think Subway has ever been good. I probably just had lower standards back in college.

Its local to us in Rochester. We love our Wegmans!

It's a Superstore! Grew up in Long Island, they have big supermarkets, but Wegmans is more like a Costco with normal sizes.

There "generics" are a big draw here. Mostly reboxed top end brands

The one time I tried it was the last. Garbage. This was back in the late 90s or early 2000s. Jersey Mike's uses classic sub bread. When you get a chance, look at the bread Subway uses. It can barely be called bread. It is some weird thin line that puffs out.

Real cold cuts were sold in small mama papa Italian deli's on the North East coastline a few decades ago, some of these deli's still exist but the cold cuts have become toxic and heavily salted.
