Where is your proof he wanted 23 and was turned down? That works both ways.Where is your proof that Blue refused to want jersey #23 but instead now wants #34?
I'm willing to bet he would prefer #23.
And even if he was, so what? Buddy Johnson is a veteran who was on the team last year, and while mainly just a special teams player, 23 is his number and a 5th round rookie doesn't have automatic dibs a number that belongs to a veteran. Hell, you read at times about even top players coming in having to arrange a deal with a veteran that has the number they want
Reality is none of us know, and it's really not the melodrama it is being made out to be here.
