Jersey numbers

numbers in the 50's should be only for LB's not OL and DL

Given the NFL's numbering system, we can line him up at Center if we don't like who replaces Frederick, lol.

(a) quarterbacks, punters, and placekickers: 1–19;
(b) running backs and defensive backs: 20–49;
(c) centers: 50–79;
(d) offensive guards and tackles: 60–79;
(e) wide receivers: 10–19 and 80–89;
(f) tight ends and H-backs: 40–49 and 80–89;
(g) defensive linemen: 50–79 and 90–99;
(h) linebackers: 40–59 and 90–99.

Hmmm...Connor Williams is #52, but that doesn't seem to fit "Policy."

Somebody in the media asked Armstrong about wearing #74 and he didn't realize that he would not have the option to wear it during the regular season.

I liked #64 for Woods.

Woods looked like a 64.

And I hate Armstrong's number.

Dorance Armstrong #58....wear it well...for Mike Hegman!!!!!
but 2 things...Hegman was a linebacker, and secondly, Dorance is a down lineman/DE...unless THEY ARE TINKERING WITH THE NOTION OF USING HIM AS A HYBRID LB/DE? Its strange he would get that number.

I found it interesting that T-Will is the only receiver to have a number in the 80's.

When will they start allowing TEs to wear 90-99 ala NCAA?

was talking about the number....not position.
Hegman is one of my all-time favorites....thats why I brought him up.

The 50's being center numbers has been relaxed for a while basically OL can be any number from 50-79 as long as its an ineligible number. I wish 00 was still allowed...

All of out WR's numbers are in the teens, except Twill.
Maybe once the prove themselves and get into adulthood, they will get promoted into the 80's. :lmao2:
