I thought Holley looked impressive against Minnesota and could have locked himself a spot in a tight WR race for backups. Some tough catches and is supposedly a beast on ST. Could mean the practice suad for Radway. I think we are locked with Austin, Bryant, Ogletree, Holley, Harris as our core WRs this year. If Garrett decides to keep 6 then Radway will be added.

lol Holley impressive b/c he finally had a couple catches, but then managed to get down there on a punt he couldn't cover and grabbed a hand full of facemask. I could say Manny Johnson was just as impressive I guess right?? Come on man, chill, lets not sing the praises of Jesse Holley. H

Gotta give Holley some props; he made the plays that were presented to him, which all you can ask of a 4th/5th receiver. He had the facemask on special teams, but also made a great tackle covering earlier in the game.

He made a few catches that he should have made. Nothing out of the ordinary. Good on him, but still not worth using a roster spot on him, IMO

He made some tough catches tonight.

if tough catches are balls that are thrown right on the money & hit you in the hands, then ok I guess he made some tough catches

Holley could have 200 yards and 4TDs and some people will still find something wrong with it. Holley gets a lot of hate for how he got to be on the team to begin with it i think

It's not that at all, I saw Romo put it right on the money for every WR tonight, & their job is to catch the ball, I didn't see any tough catches, besides the nice catch Dez went up to get. only my opinion, Manny Johnson played just as well tonight with a catch in traffic and a streak route where the QB underthrew him and caught the ball backpedaling at it's highest point with the CB covering him

He was pretty good and right now the better receiver between him and Radway. But Radway can develop into a more impact WR by next yr. Perfect PS candidate if they can retain him.

I wasn't saying he was the next coming of Jerry Rice for heaven's sake, just that I thought he had a good night, and may very well make the team because of it. If he doesn't, it's no skin off my back. There sure are some Holley haters here. And you tell me to chill. Funny!

Instead of devaluing what Holley did last night, go make a Manny Johnson Impressive thread so others can go into it & say how he wasn't impressive at all. Sheesh. They both played well. No reason to dump on one over the other.

Fought hard for extra yards, showed toughness and some moves. How people can say he sucks is beyond me. He sure fights for yards and shows more emotion then Ogletree.

Jesse looked decisive in his routes, catching and running. I had sort of written him off, but seeing how he played tonight, and how he came on as a ST player @ the end of last season, especially against the Saints on Thanksgiving, he can help this team on gamedays.

I agree completely. This is a better way of saying what I tried to.

What was so impressive about Holley's performance. He caught 3 balls that he should have caught and missed a tackle on a kickoff and facemasked another guy. Thats an impressive performance?

I called it. Everyone was rueing that other guy from 4th &Long but I was a holley fan throughout, he's a good backup.

Likewise. I think I made threads back then about Holley. The kid is a good #4 or #5. Cowboys fans will never like him though.

The funny thing is, these same people on here talking bad on him are the same ones that would ask for his autograph had they seen him walking down the street.
