I guess this guy is our Rudy, he sounds like someone who can certainly help this ailing special teams play. He is a player who's attitude is in the right place. He went from nothing to something much like Romo. Obviously not to that extent, but its there.

A player like Alan Ball seems to have gotten there, and taken that breath that Holley was talking about, because he clearly isn't impressing anyone.

You can look at players who are obviously trying to get better every day.

I think Jenkins bought into his own mythos, and drank his own koolaid. Last year he was bugging Romo to get a different approach to being a corner, he was really hungry last year. As much as I dislike the coaching staff for having a competition between him and scandrick, maybe thats exactly what you need.

P.S. scandrick is some serious garbage.

Hey Mcfly........he had one bad game.......Jenkins is a really good player and he is also young and human

He made Kenny Britt look like Randy Moss... He clearly wasn't prepared for this game, and has said so himself. Which is pretty poor given he is quick to question the teams preparation.

He even said this off season that he didn't have to work as hard... clearly this was a mistake for him.

He had 1 really bad game, and he hasn't been stellar this season.

I want to go back in time and kill whomever made the saying "drank the Koop aid." :banghead:

Parcells?

Seriously though, look at his statements since the off season, he clearly thought he was in the promised land, and he has regressed.

He's been Campotized. Go back and look at how our DBs, not named Deon, played under Campo. They all pretty much sucked.

Better hope Jesse Holley shows out somehow. We're gonna need some type of breakout performance to save our season, like Miles last year. Let's face it, this team was in BAD shape heading into the KC game last year and if this season ends up being a flop, it actually should have happened last year but we got "lucky" and Miles emerged.

I think that breakout is Felix Jones. My point about Jesse Holley is he was really good on special teams in the preseason, so I expect him to help us in our coverage teams.

Hey Soldier..do they still give out that nasty grape kool-aid in MRE's? It's been 16 years since I was in the Army so I'm thinking/hoping they may have improved the MRE's?

agreed one of the first guys out the door - Campo

A positive about Jesse is that he goes all out. I expect him to maximize whatever opportunities he gets out there.

The new grape koolaid in MRE is DELICIOUS. Orange is also really good, as is Lime.

He's been fine .......how can you defend Marty b and attack k Jenkins....? That's just insane........you know even Deion had bad days

You make good points GB. I find it funny how the same people here who "hate" on Holley for his special teams capabilities are the same people who love Coach D as his coach, who would obviously had dismissed Holley as a special-teamer if he couldn't do the job. It's also laughable how these same people love Michael Irvin but selectively dismiss what he said about Holley - that he earned this himself through hard work. Yeah, appearently Holley's the problem for diing the hard work needed to do the job that the players he is replacing on special teams have not done. Yeah, that's it. Let's all take it out on Holley! Not me. I'm fully confident that he'll do the special-temas job the coaches will ask him to do.
