Jesse Williams was supposed to be super strong, but he only had 30 reps and his arms are only 32".

I'm curious to see his quickness/agility measureables. I don't expect them to be very good.

Another overrated player. Don't see what some see in him.

I'd be very cautious about this guy. The big problem is investing a high pick on a guy who is surrounded by a college all-star team. He will look far more dominant than he truly is on the game tape. Normally guys worthy of being drafted are the dominant players on their teams and have to be gameplanned against extensively by their opponents.

I think the 30 reps are fine, the bigger issue is how well does he anchor against double teams against quality opponents. If he can do it consistently than he is a guy you can draft in the 3rd round and be happy with your returns.

Only 30 reps  ....pretty sure thats plenty strong.

My problem with Williams is that he has at no point showed the ability to rush the passer, or really make plays in general. 6.5 TFL in the past 2 years doesn't exactly scream 1st round pick to me. I'm not expecting a ton a sacks from a guy like him, but he doesn't make plays in the backfield against the run either. Solid player, but not a 1st round pick in my opinion.

Multiple reports said he might break the bench record.

Here is one:

Alabama DT Jesse Williams
Williams is yet another prospect with an international background. He grew up in Brisbane, Australia, before attending Arizona Western College to play football. The work he did in the weight room after arriving at the University of Alabama is the stuff of legend. He has reportedly posted a 600-pound bench press. That's not a typo. He has a real shot at breaking the bench-press record at the combine and should also run under 5.0.

While I'm not high on Williams personally, 30 is good enough.

people who think 30 reps isnt alot and Williams should have done more because his bench max is 600 doesn't understand lifting. Its two different things.
Benching 225 several times is power and endurance as lifting 600 pounds once is just power. This is why the NFL combine sets 225 so they can see both power and endurance.

Brandon Williams benched 225 38 times but I bet he can't bench 600 once.
