In just a matter of months, Jessica Simpson and Tony Romo went from nearly breaking up to moving in together, a report from Life & Style declares in a story this week. According to numerous reports, the Dallas Cowboys quarterback, 28, has plunked down nearly $700,000 for a six-bedroom, four-bath mansion in Irving, Texas.

Citing privacy laws, Tony’s realtor, Rogers Healy, wouldn’t confirm that Tony purchased the property, but he did tell Life & Style, "Tony’s looking for something that suits his preferences — nothing flashy, nothing crazy, a good investment and a moderate drive to the stadium.” And Tony’s interior decorator is Jessica!


"What she’s planning to do with the place is awesome,” says an insider close to Jess, 28. “It’s a little outdated, so the renovations are probably going to end up costing more than the house itself. And Tony totally trusts her.”

The mansion in Irving is 5,551 square feet. “Tony likes to entertain, so a house with an open floor plan is ideal for him,” the football star’s realtor, Rogers Healy, tells Life & Style.

Yesterday was a busy day for Jessica Simpson. After doing interviews all day at Santa Monica's Casa del Mar hotel to promote her new country album, Do You Know, Jess hit Beso with Ashlee for dinner...and another opportunity to shill her album.

Although Ash managed to avoid the pap frenzy out front, her older sister worked the photogs to her advantage.

As she hopped into her waiting SUV with mane man Ken Paves by her side, Jess blasted "You're My Sunday" (an ode to her boyfriend, Tony Romo, from the new album) for all the world to hear.
