US magazine has a little something on Tony Romo and Jessica Simpson in its issue scheduled to hit newsstands tomorrow. It's not exactly worthy of an Encyclopedia Britannica entry. It's really a promo for Tony as a "spokes model" for Starter athletic apparel. Here's the scoop on the pertinent two questions:
(Isn't it lovely to have the quarterback of the Cowboys referred to as a "spokes model"?)

Q: How do you and Jessica stay active?
Romo: We work out together from time to time when she's in Dallas. She always wants to stay in great shape and is very encouraging. She's the one pushing me!


Q: It seems like you guys really just click.
Romo: I don't know how to explain it. We just happen to laugh a lot, we enjoy each other's company and we don't take each other for granted. It's just easy -- and that's the sign of a good relationship

I would hope like any relationship that she is there for him good times and bad.

I think way too much is made of his personal relationships. I doubt many would tolerate people at work telling you to divorce your wife or ditch your girl friend because we don't like her.

Each time Tony was injured Jessica flew in if she wasn't there. She has been very supportive & managed most of last season to not be seen when at games.
If they are happy & content as they seem to be & have wethered a lot of the crap out there & stuck it out then they need to be left alone to figure the rest out.
For Tony to even talk like this was a huge step for him.
For Tony to succeed now at his game he does not need the added pressure of people into any more of his personal life. He seems to be content so lets let him get on with his football game & support that too.
