Many were very excited when the Dallas Cowboys signed on for their second stint on the HBO "Hard Knocks" program that follows the team through training camp. While fans love the inside look of the team that is presented during the program each week others were looking to get a glimpse inside the relationship of Jessica Simpson and Tony Romo.

The show has said that coverage will be minimal or non-existent for the Jessica Simpson and so far they have stuck with that as the program has concentrated its efforts on the team and the players that are actually playing for a job. Meanwhile the gossip behind Jessica and tony moves forward.


A report from People magazine notes that she took the time to talk about her nine month romance with Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo, 28, for whom she penned the song "You're My Sunday." "I love every quality Tony has," she gushed. "I can't predict the future, but right now I'm as happy as I could possible imagine."

The pair have survived all sorts of break up rumors and speculation all throughout the summer and remain strong as the Cowboys prepare for the upcoming season. Will fans accept Jessica Simpson on Sundays at Texas Stadium?

Kid Rock, Jessica Simpson and her friend/assistant Casey hit the honky-tonks Monday night. The group was spotted at The Stage on Broadway mingling with some members of the band Hinder.

Steph spies say they were all very cordial to the crowd and even took a few pics. Sources tell me Jessica and Kid Rock met through Hank Williams Jr’s daughters. After the honky-tonk the group headed to John Rich’s place The Spot, where I am told they partied until 3 in the morning.

Carrie Underwood readily admits in an interview that her ex beau Tony Romo still calls her a report from Us Weekly notes this week. The former American idol and country star dated the Dallas Cowboys quarterback briefly before he hooked up with Jessica Simpson. Many reports have detailed that insiders have claimed that Tony still carries a torch for Carrie. Both have said they remain friends.

Us Weekly has an interesting item for those that believe there just might be a Jessica - Tony - Carrie triangle. They have this, "She may not be taking a Louisville Slugger to their headlights, but in the September issue of Allure (on newsstands August 19), Carrie Underwood, 25, dishes about her famous exes, including Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo, 28."

Among the bombshells revelations from the country singer is that Romo, whom she dated for six months last year, still calls to chat - but doesn't always receive a warm reception. "The phone will ring and it'll be him, and I'll maybe not answer," she tells the mag.

But the single, Checotah, Oklahoma - raised crooner admits they did share some good times. "We were both small-town people doing very big things, and we relied on each other, dealing with fame." "She's a very nice, sweet girl," Romo has said of Underwood. This might get interesting.

Jessica Simpson and Tony Romo have survived a brutal playoff loss in Texas Stadium when the New York Giants defeated the Dallas Cowboys last season. Jessica was booed criticized and dubbed a jinx by some Cowboys fans that were upset with another playoff loss in the first round. Now it appears that Carrie Underwood is still willing to mix it up a bit as well.

Underwood and Romo briefly dated before the quarterback moved on to Sophia Bush and then settled in with Jessica Simpson. They have made it through a summer of break up rumors and now Tony is in training camp and the Cowboys are on the HBO series "Hard Knocks" that follows the team though training camp in Oxnard, California.

Still, this week's In Touch asks, "Could Carrie Underwood be trying to create a rift between Jessica Simpson and Tony Romo?" In the September issue of Allure, Carrie, 25, reveals that Tony, 28, whom she dated briefly last year, still calls her occasionally.

"The phone will ring and it'll be him, and I'll maybe not answer," she tells the magazine. "Jessica wasn't happy that Carrie would say something like that," a pal tells In Touch, but notes that Jess has complete faith in her NFL quarterback beau.

"She and Tony have a strong and trusting relationship. Tony would never hurt her. She isn't worried at all that he is calling Carrie." The pal adds, "He is head over heels for Jessica - she has no reason to worry." Jessica, 28, has been dating Tony since last November.

These people she was with are traditional country artists with there own clout in Nashville. They are not the contemporary side at all.Jessica was in Nashville taping for a special coming up on the 8 of Sept just the day before her release of her album. In these careers you & I both know that you will always be seen with others in the same career as you so tyo incinuate something was up I say rediculous but it does create more drama. You will always see this in the future too. Jessica has many friiends in Nashville long before this record as that is where she wrote from her third album on. Kid rock & Hank being huge buddies of Willies makes sense for Jess to be there. Hank Williams daughter is a huge buddie of Jessicas. Jess shot her album on Johnny Cashs farm another huge Willie person. These guys all stick together & have some say in Nashville. I'm thinking some of these tarditionalists in Nashville maybe tired of some of the bashing too so are stepping up. You know there were many others at this thing too. I bet all these people are with Sony records too & may even have a part in the same special so its not biggey. Jess is asking for a fair shot & it seems with yesterdays promotions & this taping yesterday for the day before her release of her album some are determined she gets it. Jessica is investing in Dallas. Now she has invested previously in VIBE with Blake Andrews & Jason Whitten & I believe Bobby Carpernter amongst other athletes so it is nice to see her do this in her home town.

Something I guess some don't know is Hank & John Rich go way back with Jessica early into last spring. John was rumoured to be producing Jess's album & Hank was involved in writing. This is nothing new for thsi bunch. All old friends.
