Jets had Zero Penalties?

crazy stat for week 1 post lockout.

suspicious to say the least, esp when playing in NY on 9/11.
They got away with some holds but in fairness I think we did too.
What got me though was the blatant push-off that Plaxifelon did in order to get open on his TD catch. He's too fat and slow now to get open, and he was never fast to begin with, but the shove gave him some clearance. Otherwise he doesn't get that TD and the game is potentially changed. It made me madder after Witten gets called for a pick on the last drive. Garbage...nonetheless this was a game we easily won save for our QB giving it away.

I wouldn't read that much into it. It look overall like they played a pretty clean game to me.

I guess there corners playing like mike jenkins of last year (tugging and pulling jerseys) is clean.

Neither team played a clean game. The Jets just weren't flagged for theirs. I just wish we'd stop waiting to the last second to snap the ball. The ref was all over that last night.

I was at the game, and there were several "non-calls" that were obvious. My brother was with me and he's a huge jets fan and said we got screwed

See I seen this coming! I think the game was fixed.... The whole pass on the goal line series, we were killing cro all night but romo forces it to a injured Dez who was at no point open on that play, the two seires that were killed when the refs called like 2 or 3 penatalies back to back to back. Glad I seen this because I was plan on betting this year on a few games.

I did like how the refs seemed to let the DBs play last night.

There were several plays (both ways) where the DBs could have been called for pass interference, but weren't.

What kind of officiating that throws the flag without allowing even a microsecond past 1 on the playclock cannot find a single thing to flag the Jets for. There is no way I believe that. They just didn't want to be mugged by NY fans.

Told Hos this the night before the game. Knew the zebras were gonna be on their side being a heavy heart game and all.

Didn't think it would be this obvious.

I don't like making excuses, but I like a level playing field - and it seems Dallas never has one with the refs.

The Jets' right guard was moving his head around a good bit presnap ... and it drew a couple of encroachment calls.

I was surprised how few penalties called. Like watching a game of Madden football.

Yeah I thought it was kinda interesting how much they let Revis be physical with Dez. It was like they didn't let anyone on the field be physical with a WR, but Revis.

I'ts beyond stupid at this point. Although, I'm sure Tony has the best stats of any QB who waits until the final second of a snap count. :)

The only complaint I have with the officials last night is they didn't call anything on the right tackle blocking Ware. There were at least 4 different times I watched the right offensive tackle put his hand on Ware's facemask and keep it there for an extended time. I get that things can be missed occasionally, but it kept happening. Then again Ware seems to be one of the few premier pass rushers that never seems to draw fouls.

I thought the Steelers were the only team that didn't get penalties called on them? That pick play was a huge call. Could have eaten their whistle there I thought.

Speaking of that ref he was so annoying. Had that New York accent and it seemed like he was some closet Jets fan and everytime he was announcing the penalty he was enjoying it. I was just waiting for him to say 'I yam a Jets fan and I yam going to cull every penalty on the Cowboys' I don't know I am just venting but that ref was a super d bag and annoying.

If every NFL game from here on out was officiated like last night's game I would not mind one bit.

Why do they let Revis play with his hands on the WR after 5 Yards.

This is the same question I am wondering.

Ive been watching football for many years and I feel I am pretty objective when it comes to the rules and whats should be called and what should not be called. I was curious as to how Revis is so successful at stopping some really good WR's in the league. Well if the way he played Dez last night is any indication then the answer is with clutching and grabbing the receivers. It was kind of disappointing to see how much contact was allowed from him only.
