Jets proved today one thing, as did other teams that won this weekend

If you don't have Good OL, it doesn't matter how hot the team is or how good the QB is or D is etc.

All the teams that won, had good OL play first and good enough D or great D. Jets OL just is outstanding. Cowboys lost completely because of OL and mainly OL. Sure Romo could have played a little better and D could have played a little better, with Columbo even worse than whats that Pitt guy who played one season for cowboys for a game, Romo/offense didn't stand chance.

We got several threads about OC sucks, JErry Sucks or Wade sucks etc. But bottom line, OL again let this team down, much like in 2007 and past 3-4 seasons, and Romo takes the blame again. As someone said, once Flozell went down, it spelled doom. But actually Free when he was one on one, did pretty good against Allen. But columbo was just pathetic. I just hope, we have a RT ready to go next season. Enough of old OL.

Offensive line play is key in all the games... Dallas offensive line played good when Flozell was in the game, they really need to find his future replacement!

Yep, when Flozell was in, it was OK, since at least one end was sollid. But Columbo still was just pathetic. He was absolutely horrible, no ifs and buts about it. He was absolute turnstile. Its not like he was playing against All-pro DE.

I think we all knew, OL and DL were the key for this game. And it came true. Columbo faded last year too, injury or not. Flozell did too last year, but he was good this year, till injury.

Without an OL you can't run or protect consistently. I'm sure they will address it this draft but Dallas doesn't really have the picks to get a stud lineman. Maybe Free develops... I don't know.

And it was mostly columbo fault for that. He never managed to block even decent. He was lunging, bad footwork, everything wrong on his pass blocking against Edwards.
