The New York Jets have signed offensive tackle Michael Turkovich to a futures contract, allowing him to join the club for off-season activities.

Turkovich went to camp with the Dallas Cowboys last summer. He incurred a knee injury in early August and was released with an injury settlement. The Cowboys listed Turkovich, from Notre Dame, at 6 feet 6 and 316 pounds.

With the Jets, Turkovich will join another player whom the Cowboys released last season: placekicker Nick Folk.
