JFE reads cowboyszone - take a look

They should just quit hiding behind their usernames and talk football on here with us fans.

If you spoke with the cowboyszone fans your looking at a lot of exposure and I would be more interested in someone I could actually speak to.

I would actually seek out to read their articles instead of waiting for them to fling their spat so someone will give them attention.
Both DMN and FWST have online chats.

DMN has a pre-game and post-game chat. Sometimes a mid-week chat.

FWST has a game chat which is way too brutal for me to track anymore.

With a rare exception I am sure they don't mind. They are getting attention, good or bad, and that is better than getting no attention at all.

tru dat.

reporters consider it flattering that people actually get so worked up hating their writing.

i know i do.

p.s., no, I'm not JJT. ;)

JFE does read this forum, I know that for a fact.

Huh, how about that. I wonder though, if she didn't bother to show up for work for a few weeks and she was replaced by any of 100+ members here how much her work wouldn't be missed at all.

She really is very poor at her chosen career path, but what else is there for her?

I would completely understand if nobody on here believed me about this, but I'm 100% certain that Mickey Spagnola has pretty much jacked material from one of my posts before.

It was several years ago, after a Cowboys loss at home to San Francisco. Can't remember the year, but T.O. caught the game-winner from Jeff Garcia late in the 4th, and that drive came after a long Cowboys FG attempt was no good.

I had a long post on The Ranch (Cowboys scout.com board), and the next day I read an article from Mickey that not only mirrored a few of my points to a freakin' tee, but while mirroring my points he used an identical style. It was pretty comical... at one point in my post, I wrote something like "Would you guys be cool with that?" and at the exact same point in his article, he wrote something like "You folks okay with that?"

Edit: the game was December 8, 2002. San Francisco 31, Dallas 27... 'twas also the game in which Woody Dantzler had the greatest kick return for TD in NFL history. And if you've seen the play and remember it well, you would know I'm not being hyperbolic by calling it that.

Yeah, I posted the Saints' 3rd down conversion rate (48%) on somebody's thread before the game and like a day later, I think Rob Phillips did the same thing on DC.com.

Just coincidence?

Who knows...

Walking a tight rope made of dental floss down the right sideline. If only we could have pulled that one out.

Holy crap!! A guy from Sydney, Australia may have been quoted by a Cowboys beat writer??? If true - how funny is that!!!

Oh, and for the record, I am a part-time journalist - only that's for basketball, not football. I've got a weekly column for our National Basketball League down here on the NBL website www.nbl.com.au.

It doesn't surprise me. You're a very good writer.

Thanks Hostile, I appreciate it. Been meaning to say - love the site, you guys do a tremendous job keeping it all together. When I want to know the latest about the Cowboys, this is where I go.

I do too. I rarely go to the official team site, they lag behind CZ. With all of the fans around here scouring for information, it doesn't take long for it to hit these forums before Yahoo! Sports, DC.com, or anywhere else.
