Jim Garrett has a video dedicated to himself on the Dallas Cowboys web-site. Larry Lacewell doesn't even have that and most people have heard of Lacewell's connections to Jerry, before Jim. What exactly has this guy don't to deserve a video? Is he making decisions?

Ever since Jerry has been trying to prove he could get it done without Jimmy Johnson, this clown has been with him every step of the way.

If you want to blame Jerry for his incompetence, then blame his inner circle as well.

Is this a Garrett or Lacewell rant?

Both apparently.. Lacewell brought Kiffen here and because of Jim, the Cowboys have a head coach in training..

Lacewell and Jim worked alongside Stephen in personnel starting from 1997, though Jim was involved in scouting for a few years prior there.

The main point being, of this guy has his own video, than why is it a surprise Jerry has stuck with Jason for so long? As long as these guys are around, leaching off Jerry, what's going to change?

OMG! I can't believe I just watched that video. How many players that Jim "unearthed" amounted to anything in the NFL. I cannot believe this "champion" for the diamond in the rough types has the ear of the "braintrust" of this organization. This is comical!

He would be great at the Boys Club. Or a home for disadvantaged youth. He should NOT be tied to high profile NFL team!

Even that's questionable. He coached Columbia for one year to like a 1-10 record. And his career has been marked with controversy, including mis-treatment of his student-athletes.

All three of his sons as an aside transferred there when he was made HC. They follow him wherever he goes.

They have conned Jerry good..

Judd, the other son, is Director of Player Personnel.. John was here in 2011 and 2012, the former year as TE coach and the very next year, promoted to passing game coordinator by his brother, Jason.

That was the year John's pet project, Kevin Ogletree when they were at UVA, was Jason and John's solution to our WR woes.

The thing is John was so bad, but Jerry never technically fired him for PR purposes, but John announced he would be looking for HC jobs in college. That was the same year the Cowboys had no problems firing Skip Peete and other assistant coaches.

I'm pretty sure Romo had enough, because that's when Jerry started taking power away from Jason on offense. I'm seriously beginning to think the only reason Garrett doesn't wield as much influence on offense anymore is because Romo was getting PO'd. Romo wasn't even involved in game planning until 2013, when he got the new contract and it was understood he would have more of a roll, though Jerry spun that as his decision. I think that is what made Jerry originally go with the idea of having Callahan call plays.

That's how entrenched the Garrett's are in the organization...

And I recall Romo demanding with his new contract that they fix the Oline. Amazing that Romo understands football better than Jerry or Garrett. But then again, Garrett was a bad backup and Romo is a hall of fame candidate at QB. Makes perfect sense.
