Wow, plus, they weren't exactly beating down his door to do a skype interview either. I kinda thought he'd be highly coveted by more teams. Chargers would make sense but why is he leaving Denver? I find it odd he still be looking to leave. Unless the coaching staff purge in Denver makes him uneasy. Did Payton tell him to start looking for other gigs?

Yeah I think hes a victim if his own success right now. Had Denver lost a week sooner I bet he'd have a job already.

But it was his own doing. He could’ve interviewed and even signed with a team. He waited to see if Vance would get a job and maybe now it appears that won’t be the case. I mean if he can’t get a head coaching job with the bad teams when will he?

he did interview but i'm not sure assistants can sign until their team is eliminated regardless of it being a promotion. i could be wrong but i thought that was written a lot when dallas interviewed him and they were still playing.

he did interview but i'm not sure assistants can sign until their team is eliminated regardless of it being a promotion. i could be wrong but i thought that was written a lot when dallas interviewed him and they were still playing.

Ok that would make sense then I didn’t know that was a rule. Seem like it hurts the assistant coach. They’d never get a chance to leave if they se good or on a good team.
