This thread is the literal definition of trolling and should be deleted. Utterly pointless.

Schwartz does at least match Garrett's "success" exactly with 29 wins. Unfortunately, there's those extra 24 losses...

give Jason garrett time because jerry jones will. then he will reach those 24 extra losses.

Just got fired in Detroit, he has spit and vinegar and the Lions beat us this year so they're better, right?

Should we take a look guyz?

Good gosh no.

I don't want anymore coaches that aren't a success in the NFL.

No more Lions, Browns, or Bengals wash-ups. please.

The only one I would take is Chud, who was the Browns HC as the OC.

So is that a negatory?

I believe the Detroit Lions have superior talent to the Dallas Cowboys. That they went 7-9 last season is inexcusable. Especially considering the turmoil and opportunities within their own division.

Enough of this talk. I think Jerry should set up a pre-Superbowl cage match with all of these coaches to see who can earn the right to become a coach for the Cowboys. I sure as heck would pony up cash to watch Greg Schiano smash Schwartz over the head with a chair. Jerry gets money and we finally get our money's worth.

He is wildly undisciplined and that reflects in his team.

I agree he's undisciplined. On the other hand, the Cowboys had far fewer penalties than the Eagles last night, and still lost.

Aside from defensive line, I think the Cowboys are better unit by unit. And the Cowboys had plenty opportunity to win their division this year.

They didn't score more than 20 points at all in December. They played Philly, Baltimore, NYG and Minnesota. There is no excuse for that offense to be that anemic. Their defense improved this year - Schiano gets credit for that, but that team should have won at least three more games.

I agree with you, but it's not a compelling argument that Garrett is any better.

I have major problems with Garrett, but I do not believe any body could have coached this defense to success. Schwartz doesn't have that same crutch.

Schwartz is a complete tool. A complete A-hole with no redeeming qualities. If I'm bringing an A-hole, redeeming qualities are a must.

He coached an undisciplined team so he has experience with the garbage we have...

Then why not just hire Wannstedt since he was the special teams coach in Tampa and is now available.

Same reason I do not want norv here, set in their ways. No innovation. I actually think Wannstedt is done and ST is about all he can handle.

I'm not for bringing in Wannstedt, but I am not sure Schiano is any better.

Garrett didn't have anything to do with the defense. Just like Monte Kiffin didn't have anything to do with constantly abandoning the running game or piss poor game management.
