What a classy coach the kittens have. Nice job calling your opponent a **'er.

I'm sure Dez did his fair share, but yeah, I caught the mfer as well. Classy.

Master footballer?

Jim Schwartz and his team will probably win 7 games this year.

That is not a good football team. They can't run the ball, they can't protect, and their defense is remarkably average if you're able to block, which we were.

They've been exposed now. If we don't gift-wrap 21 points for them, we probably have Kitna or McGee in there in the 4th quarter late.

Hall was talking trash all week. Dez wasn't. Dez does his talking on the football field. So does Rob Ryan's defense.

Edit: my mistake, I thought you were talking about Rob, not Rex. I don't know who liked it with Rex, but the same thing still stands. Hall talks too much and doesn't walk the walk.

Yep. Short memories around here. Rob (and probably Dez) deserved it every much as DeAngelo Hall.

Our medicine doesn't taste too good when it's being administered by others. :laugh2:

Funny, sounds a lot like what teams have probably said about us, except for maybe the bit about the defense, although we were pretty well blocked on Sunday.

If we had come back on a team in the same manner, we'd be talking about how resilient the team was to bounce back from such a huge deficit, especially on the road.

If people had come on the forum to show concern about the fact that we let it become a 24 pt deficit before getting our feet under us, there's be cries of, "You're complaining about a win!?".

That's a bit of a double standard, isn't it?

No, bb. There's a difference.

Calling someone a **'er is not okay. Flipping the entire team off with both hands is.

Now, what that difference is beats the hell out of me.

To me, there should be a distinction between a head coach and a OC or DC doing this.

It was loved so much around here that someone posted the youtube rant. And many Cowboys fans ate it up.

Well, IMO a coach should never be yelling at opposing players, especially MFing them. He's a coach, not a player, and he should be worried about his own team instead of jawing with players.

But several people did think it was great when Rex did that. They said that kind of "fire" is what today's players want. Whatever. I still think it's classless and petty.

I'm sure there would be a double standard from the extremes, but for the level-headed folks in the middle like yourself, I think we'd have a good group of people who could realize the difference.

Also, even in victory, nobody here was saying we ran the ball well and that it was great. We stink running the football right now.

Why? What's the difference?

One could make the argument that a OC/DC shouldn't even be talking because he's not the head coach.

It just hurts because the other team is smack talking. Doesn't matter who's saying it.

Good. Maybe we'll shut our mouths and just play.

I think it has more to do with it being Hall (a Commanders player) than it does the actual action.

People loved Rob for flipping off the Skins, too. I'm willing to give a pass on that one, but for a classy franchise I wouldn't want Rob acting like a doofus.

See above.

I've also been firmly in the camp that yelling/cursing does not = leadership, so I am buying what you're selling.

Edit: what the hell is going on in this thread...who gives a rats *** about DeAngelo Hall and the Commanders?

Didn't Belichick cuss a player on the field? Who was it? I can't remember.

And I agree with you, I think the coaches shouldn't be jawing with other players. It's definitely not my style.

Fair enough, thank goodness Felix has big play ability. We'd be in a really tough spot otherwise.
